Street segments are the most granular level of our Road Hierarchy as defined within the Road Inventory database. The higher levels of the Road Hierarchy -- Pavement Segments and Roads -- are made up of one or more street segments. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>The data in this layer include line geometry and attributes from the official Street Centerlines layer maintained by OIT-GIS joined to road maintenance authority and geographic district values maintained by the DPW BOH GIS team. Road Maintenance Authority Category is symbolized by color and Functional Class (FCC) is symbolized by line width, i.e., freeways and arterials are displayed as thick lines, collectors are displayed as medium thickness, and locals are displayed as thin lines. Roads with a 'Planned' status are symbolized as dashed lines.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>This layer is sourced from the VWDPWGE.Highways.fc_Streets_CL feature class, which is refreshed nightly from data in the VWDPWGE.Highways v_Streets_CL_FC view that in turn queries the DPWROADINV.RoadInventory.v_Streets_CL view. This layer should render more quickly than others sourced directly from the DPWROADINV.RoadInventory.v_Streets_CL view, but will not immediately reflect data updates made in the Road Inventory database.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
