Description: Street Centerlines as a part of the road inventory production hierarchy layers. The geometry of the features come directly from Highways' road inventory database and is a direct copy of the official Street Centerlines layer joined with road inventory data such as road maintenance authority. The layer is symbolized by road maintenance authority and the Street Centerlines functional class (FCC) where arterials are displayed as thick lines, collectors are displayed as medium thickness, and locals are displayed as thin lines ; Roads with a 'Planned' status are symbolized as dashed lines.

Description: Pavement Segments serve as the basic units for planning pavement maintenance treatment and reconstruction activity by the Bureau of Highway's Infrastructure Management Division. Each segment is a length of road that has similar pavement condition and other characteristics that makes it suitable for the entire stretch to be paved and/or treated at one time. The segment geometry is derived from -- and is a subset of -- the Street Centerlines feature class through a dissolve function. The features are joined to attributes via a table view with a live connection to the Road Inventory Database. The layer is symbolized by road maintenance authority and the Street Centerlines' functional class (FCC) where arterials are displayed as thick lines, collectors are displayed as medium thickness, and locals are displayed as thin lines ; segments with a 'Planned' status are symbolized as dashed lines

Description: The line geometry of this feature class is derived from the Street Centerline dissolved on AARoadNo (RoadID), and is refreshed from its source nightly. Road attributes are sourced via a "live" connection to the Road Inventory Database. Updates made to the Road Inventory database are immediately reflected in the attributes of this layer. The layer is symbolized by road maintenance authority and the Street Centerlines functional class (FCC) where arterials are displayed as thick lines, collectors are displayed as medium thickness, and locals are displayed as thin lines ; Roads with a 'Planned' status are symbolized as dashed lines.

Each segment is a length of road that has similar pavement condition and other characteristics that makes it suitable for the entire stretch to be paved and/or treated at one time. The segment geometry is derived from -- and is a subset of -- the Street Centerlines feature class. The polygon geometry is derived from the Road Edges. A model is run weekly that assigns each Road Edge a SegID which is then dissolved. The output of that model is then appended to the Pavement Segment Polygons feature class in the Road Inventory after all rows from the Pavement Segment Polygons are dropped. The layer is symbolized by Road Maintenance Authority category.
