<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Pavement Segments serve as the basic units for planning pavement maintenance treatment and reconstruction activity by the Bureau of Highway's Infrastructure Management Division. Each segment is a length of road that has similar pavement condition and other characteristics that makes it suitable for the entire stretch to be paved and/or treated at one time. The segment geometry is derived from -- and is a subset of -- the Street Centerlines feature class. The features are joined to attributes via a table view with a live connection to the ROADCOND_ROADINV_JOIN_TO_SEGS view in the Road Inventory (roadinv_prod) database. Changes made to the treatment programs in the Road Inventory are immediately displayed in the symbology of this layer.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
