snippet: The data presented here are biological monitoring points assessed in the execution of watershed studies conducted by the Department of Public Works. These sites were placed after an inspection of available random sites collected by the Countywide Biological Monitoring Program (Program). Sites in this coverage are targeted to provide a biological monitoring point at the downstream extent of all major subwatersheds in the larger watershed of interest if a Program site did not exist in a desired location. Methods used in the watershed studies largely mirror Program methods, with some differences. Benthic macroinvertebrates samples are assessed at all stations. Watershed study data reports can be found at the following URL: https://www.aacounty.org/departments/public-works/wprp/watershed-assessment-andplanning/watershed-studies/
