<procdesc>The 2007 planimetrics were updated through the following process:
*LocationAge converted the original 2002 planimetrics (.shp files) into AutoCAD DWG files.
*LocationAge compared the 2002 planimetrics against the 2007 orthophotography and checked / updated the following: missing features, miscoded features, poorly compiled features, and features that no longer exist.
*LocationAge performed Quality control check for identifying missing/mismatch features, positional accuracy, Data completeness and correctness, topology errors for each of the planimetric layers.
*LocationAge merged the .DWG files to create a county wide shapefile for each of the planimetric layers.
*The .DWG files were then converted back to .SHP files and checked to make sure they were translated properly.
*LocationAge then ran an Arc/Info AML that generated errors for mismatched lines between adjacent tiles and changes in line coding between adjacent tiles. Then they corrected these errors.
*Ran Arc/Info AML to locate features that didn't match the feature definition table. Then they corrected these errors.
*LocationAge executed the cleanup and resolved Topological errors to correct these dangle endpoints.
*LocationAge performed Quality Assurance for checking data completeness and correctness, topological errors &amp; attribution errors. </procdesc>
